What have I done? What was I thinking? I arranged for ziplining in Aviemore, to do something different with the kids, something fun and exciting. And exciting it was… up to the moment my two kids were strapped together, launched on a zipline too high up in the air to my liking…
Get me close to animals and I am happy. And this time we would get to pet and feed reindeer at Cairngorms National Park where reindeer got re-introduced back in the 50’s and now roam freely.
This is something we didn’t expect. We really liked the vibe of Inverness.
You can’t go to Scotland without having a look at Loch Ness. So we did.
Why? Why can’t we make pictures inside the castle, even after paying a steep entrance fee?
You would have thought it would be easy to spot herds of Highland Cows in Scotland. No, it isn’t.
After a whole day of rain it is time to play and the sheep are apparently into it.

I read mixed reviews on the Fairy Glen on the Isle of Skye. I don’t understand. I find it very lovely here, with the glowing pointy hills, dotted with sheep that draw patterns in the grass by using the same routes again and again. Clearly the sheep are the kings here, on select vantage points […]
