This is something we didn’t expect. We really liked the vibe of Inverness.
We checked into our room – one room with four beds cramped into it. I couldn’t help but feeling that the owner was not that pleased with us having kids with us. My kids are not naughty or disrespectful. They are lively but not loud. This guy had a weird way of behaving, although I could not say he was not friendly or impolite. The next day we noticed he was really keen on everybody arriving in time for breakfast as you had indicated the evening before. We heard him shout at his wife hurrying her to get breakfast done. Don’t think he realized we noticed that. Bit of a weird stay. But still, Inverness was nice.

Nice in memorian after the terrorist attacks
Only a few days before we left for Scotlannd another terrorist attack happened, this time in Nice. Inverness colored their main bridge in the French national flag. On that bridge my friend was still taking some pictures while the rest of us where crossing the street and got a bit too much attention of a guy who really fancied her. But still, Inverness was nice.

Njam njam
The highlight of the evening was definitely the Indian restaurant Rajah… for the food… and for the best internet we had in a week. Finally we were able to send through and post at a decent speed. Up to a moment internet stopped…. it was 22:30… closing time. That was a clear hint: get out now! But still, Inverness was nice.
