What can I say? If Sifnos is a not too touristy, Serifos is even less.
You can’t go to Scotland without having a look at Loch Ness. So we did.
Cows on the beach. Yeah, right. As if. Left my high hopes in the car when we start the descent to Coral beach.
Disappointing… I envisioned a vast terrain full of action, hundreds of real Scottish men in kilts, bagpipe players every other corner, highland dancers by the multiple dozens, under a blue sky… Nothing of the above. I read mixed reviews on the Fairy Glen on the Isle of Skye. I don’t understand. I find it very lovely here, with the glowing pointy hills, dotted with sheep that draw patterns in the grass by using the same routes again and again. Clearly the sheep are the kings here, on select vantage points […]
Our four headed search party is ready for it. The tide is mid way and on its way to low. We are supposed to see them now on Staffin Beach: the dinosaur tracks. Bring it on!

Driving this last stretch on the main land between Fort William and Mallaigh was timed to the minute. I had calculated at what moment the Jacobite train would pass the Glenfinnan Bridge. And we didn’t have spare time to wait for the next one, as our car ferry would not wait for us in Mallaigh.
Real hard climb… not. We took the gondola up. Found the Nevis Range Mountain Experience easily. We took the time to pass by the boys and ladies room. What a surprise when I got out of the little room.
