Cows on the beach. Yeah, right. As if. Left my high hopes in the car when we start the descent to Coral beach.
Disappointing… I envisioned a vast terrain full of action, hundreds of real Scottish men in kilts, bagpipe players every other corner, highland dancers by the multiple dozens, under a blue sky… Nothing of the above. Our four headed search party is ready for it. The tide is mid way and on its way to low. We are supposed to see them now on Staffin Beach: the dinosaur tracks. Bring it on!
After a very wet morning and an afternoon of drying and warming up, the clouds are opening up above the Isle of Skye. Time to explore Trotternish a bit further.
Arrived at Isle of Skye yesterday. Good weather then but too tired to do anything anymore. We should have … . Today nothing to see beyond a certain distance, everything is gray and covered in a blanket of clouds. No views, only shades of gray. Maybe if we get closer to the top?
